  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SENDING OUT BOB! Last week we called another popular company to service our boiler that was faulting out and not working. Every time this happens, it's because the electrode and/or "sight" needs cleaning. That other company absolutely refused to clean the parts needed because they didn't consider cleaning a "repair," so they took our money for the service call and ran. Bob was sent out by Cochran and it took him no time at all to clean the electrode, just as we knew it would need cleaning, and get us back up and running again! My husband was the one who interacted with him and said he was very personable and knowledgeable, a delight! We were so upset having spent a week in a super cold house and having spent all that money on another company to do nothing, but Bob certainly helped make us feel a whole lot better and a whole lot warmer!

  • Bottom line up front, we could not have been more pleased with the response from Cochran Heating and AC when we had a heat pump failure a few months ago. We have a home warranty for the house that we purchased late last year, but the best possible response time offered by the warranty was going to be slow at best. Cochran quickly came out and diagnosed the issue which turned out to be a blower motor failure. This happened on the weekend, and with the time that had been lost waiting for the warranty company's response, the parts suppliers were closed for the weekend. Cochran took down all of the relevant information to order the part, suggested that we work with the warranty company to try to get the project reassigned to it, and had someone standing by for that confirmation to order the part as soon as the parts suppliers opened up on Monday. The company originally contacted by our home warranty was unable to respond due to staff being exposed to COVID, but we did not get that word until around 11:00 on Saturday night, and we had to wait until the warranty company approved reassigning the repair to Cochran on Sunday afternoon. Cochran followed through and ordered the part first thing on Monday (no supper had it in stock), the repair person was at our home first thing on Tuesday to quickly work the final approval for the repair with the warranty company and to make the repair on the spot with the part they already had in hand. It was a tough couple of days with this happening on the weekend with single-digit temperatures, but Cochran kept in constant communications with us, responded promptly, and got us up and running with a sense of urgency that we did not see from the company originally contacted. We could not have asked for more prompt and professional support than we received from Cochran Heating & Air Conditioning. I'm posting this a little after the fact because I noticed on the reviews listed under my account that the first submission did not appear to successfully show and the support provided by this company was too good to skip the review when I saw what I attempted to submit earlier was not showing.
